Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using BackForge AI you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The service

BackForge AI is a task app.

• Capture: you type or speak a messy plan. Voice is transcribed. AI breaks it into action items with optional due times and a suggested category. You review and edit, then Confirm. Nothing is saved until you confirm.
• Today: only what is due today. You can mark an item done in one tap.
• All items: everything you have confirmed, including items with no date, in Open, Done, and Category views. Categories are labels you can browse.
• Review: when items go quiet (missed or untouched), a banner offers a Review session. You can Keep, Move, or Drop them, then Confirm once.

The app does not send push reminders.

3. Account

You sign in with Clerk in the app. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app for anything unlawful.
• Do not try to access another person’s items.
• Do not abuse the service.

5. Your content

You own the text you capture. You give us a limited license to store and process it so the app can work. AI suggestions for items, due times, and categories may be wrong. Review and edit them before you confirm.

6. Intellectual property

The app and its name belong to BackForge AI. You keep ownership of what you capture.

7. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access that violates these Terms.

8. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, OR THAT AI SUGGESTIONS ARE CORRECT.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BACKFORGE AI IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms and the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app means you accept the update.
