End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. Agreement

This EULA is between you and BackForge AI for the BackForge AI mobile app. Using the app means you accept this EULA, the Terms, and the Privacy Policy.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own tasks.

3. Restrictions

• Do not copy, sublicense, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.
• Do not bypass sign-in or access another person’s items.

4. The app

You can type or speak a plan. Voice is transcribed. AI suggests action items, optional due times, and a category. Those suggestions may be wrong. Review and edit them, then Confirm. Nothing is saved until you confirm. Today shows what is due today, and you can mark an item done in one tap. All items lists everything you confirmed, including items with no date, and categories are labels you can browse. When items go quiet (missed or untouched), you can review them and Keep, Move, or Drop them in one Confirm. The app does not send push reminders.

5. Data

We store your Clerk user id, captured text, items, categories, and an optional push token. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The app is owned by BackForge AI. You own the content you capture.

7. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. AI SUGGESTIONS MAY BE WRONG.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BACKFORGE AI IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

This EULA ends if you violate it or you stop using the app. You should then delete the app from your devices.
